The Foul Contending Rebels Theatre Cooperative based in Burlington, VT, is invested in prioritizing the inherently rebellious nature of the female voice. At Syren Studios, we helped design their sound cues for their 2021 production of Macbeth, incorporating dark, horror sound effects, offering a fully immersive experience. The Foul Contending Rebels reimagined Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, dropping the audience straight into Prohibition Era New York City. The show was performed on Halloween night with all the audience members dressed up for the occasion.
